4 stages, 20 (+) DJs to see and a whole family to reunite at Timeshift festival [ontheroad]
After 4 days of complete madness at Luminosity Beach Festival in Amsterdam (full review coming soon), here I go again! This time at TimeShift Bucharest Music Festival. A festival that promises to fuse the science into the fiction and into the music and take you to another dimension. I must admit: I didn't have too much hope about it when I first saw one of their headliners: David Guetta. But slowly, after announcing even more names and some really strong confirmations from the community, I came to accept this is going to happen. Another festival will take place in Romania. Another festival will drive the music people crazy for one more weekend this summer.
The news about it, the line up, all the details, are not new. Most of you already know them since the first share. TimeShift will take place between July 20 and July 23 at Romexpo on 4 different stages: Mainstage, Kristal by Ahead Stage, Control Stage, Black Rhino and TranceEnDance Stage. These 2 last stages are Black Rhino on Thursday and Sunday and TrancEnDance on Friday and Saturday, as they show in the promo materials.
The most important stage for me is without doubt the TrancEnDance stage. The stage that will mark my whole experience with the festival and complete the "not to miss" events list of the summer. They planned 2 days of true trance madness and I cannot wait to see all the DJs from the lineup!
I will see again: Cosmic Gate, the duo I am fan-girling so much everytime I see them; John O'Callaghan, who I saw a couple of weeks ago and I cannot believe will see again in such a short time; Ruben De Ronde, Hazem Beltagui, Markus Schulz, Bogdan Vix and Standerwick - another DJ (I am crushing on) I am thrilled to see play. Last, but not least my italian music crush, the music lover I simply adore, the one and only Giuseppe Ottaviani and his Live 2.0. This man is pure music in disguise. He inspires me so much with his music, with his work, I remain speechless every time I listen to him. If I could, I would go all around the world for him and I am pretty sure I will never get bored by one of his sets.
I will also see for the first time Ben Nicky (missed him when he first came to Bucharest), Estiva, Arkham Knights, Yoel Lewis, Chicane, Gareth Emery and (yes, I know :-s) Above & Beyond. Very curious about what these never seen (for me) DJs will bring up. I saw a couple of recorded sets from them, but I really want to enjoy the full live experience. I know Above and Beyond came to Romania 4 more times years ago, and I will never forgive myself for missing them, but this time, at this festival I am coming no matter what!
Plane tickets ready. Accomodation ready! Flag ready! Camera ready! Friends ready! Me ready! Ready to board on the plane on Friday morning and ready to dance my shoes off for 3 days. Ready to enjoy another trance weekend with the Romanian Trance Family. Ready for the music. The only things missing are some new TRANCE T shirts to rock on the dancefloor. But that is already work in progress!

13 DJs, 4 stages, 1st day, 1 event: Luminosity Beach Festival 2017 #ontheroad
Finally back on track! I've been away for a while, but right now I am preparing to go to Luminosity Beach Festival to enjoy the very first day of their 10th anniversarry. Needless to say, I am super uber excited to be here.
But all this excitement fades a bit when I see the line ups for each stage and struggle becomes real. When you see 3 favorite DJs playing in the same time, you start to question yourself why didn't you discover teleportation yet? Or it cloning be an option? To be able to enjoy all the artists? Who to choose? All the artists you already saw and instantly liked? Artists you never saw playing? All of them? :D
Well, I tried to stay away from making a plan when they first announced the timetable. I tried so hard to go with the flow, but I can't stay away from picking up my favorites. :)
So, the first day for me is gonna be entertained by amazing artists like: Jerome Isma-Ae, Menno De Jong, Philippe El Sisi, Solarstone, Simon O'Shine, Snjeder, Standerwick, Misja Helsloot, Sean Tyas, Maria Healy, Johan Gielen and Jordan Suckley. Of course, the time sets coincide, but I don't care. I will do my best to enjoy all of them! Also, will try my best to take some photos, even though I think my camera is on its way to beeing broken. Yesterday at the pre-party it had a blast! :D

E a doua oara pe anul acesta cand Andrew Rayel revine in tara natala cu un eveniment. Ar fi a 3 a oara cand Trancers.ro va spune prezent pentru inca o noapte de neuitat alaturi de moldovenii electrici.
Asa ca pe, 31 august pe plaja GOA Territory, ne vedem la Clubzone Beach Fest, un eveniment dedicat celor ce nu vor sa renunta asa usor la vara, celor care sunt gata sa danseze pana răsare soarele pe cele mai cunoscute piese electronice!

De mult vroiam sa particip la unul din evenimentele organizate de Tranceylvania si uite ca in cateva zile, voi fi acolo! Tranceylvania este comunitatea trancerilor din Cluj si imprejurimi. Au inceput in Noiembrie 2011, sub numele de Cluj Trance Addicts si au pus la cale primul eveniment in ianuarie 2012. Momentan au ajuns la editia cu numarul 20, si sigur nu se vor opri aici! They are keeping trance alive and we're proud of this!

In less than 2 weeks, the finish DJ is coming to Romania for the first time! We're actually pretty excited and cannot wait to party again with the romanian trance community at Arenele Romane. Known by his most popular track ever, Sandstorm, Darude was never forgotten into the trance world. His unique sounds, his classic tunes are and will always be in our hearts. Started in 1996, launching Sandstrom in 1999 and having one of the most sold singles in 2000, he is still a pioneer for the electronic music nowadays. He's constantly improving and supporting young artists in their journey. Hard working guy, he launched a couple of weeks ago a new, very catchy track. A track that is actually a single from his upcoming album! So, he is one to watch this year!

Markus Schulz will be rocking Bucharest on 7th of February
We all know Markus Schulz. We all know he is America's Best DJ for 2015 and also being loved by all the music lovers around the world. Aaaaand now we all know that he will be performing on February 7th in Bucharest at Arenele Romane.
The event was announced for several weeks now and has an attendance of over 900 people. Romanian trance people are the best when talking about this beautiful music, and can't wait till ”due date”. Sharing tracks, making requests are typical post on the event. Also, they are helping each other, by sharing acomodation and travel information for everyone that is not from Bucharest and wanna come. This is actually how trance family goes. :)
The people behind this are again Snatt & Vix, the amazing romanian trance duo, that made the romanian trance family touch numerous levels of happiness by being part of the amazing events from last year (2 Armada Nights - one with Aly and Fila, Christina Novelli, another one with Alexander Popov, Susana, Mark Sixma, Simon O' Shine and Alexandra Badoi, Aly and Fila The Other Shore Album Tour, Armin Only Intense, Chicane, Johan Gielen with trance classics and Arctic Moon).
We can say Markus is a pioneer for the electronic dance music. In the last 10 years he combined more styles into his personal one. His label ”Coldharbour”, his radio show ”Global DJ Broadcast” and himself were a real influence for the trance scene, specially in US. Aaaand we all know how much US influences the entire world.
In the last episodes of the GDJB, Markus announced that this year he will produce 12 tracks, a new one every month for some specific cities visited during gigs. The first one was for Miami and called Bayfront. You can check it here:
