Feelings review: [Trance] EXPOSURE with Romanian Trance Family
Ok. It's been a while since the event happened. It's been a while. I supposedly cooled off and I am, now, able to tell you about THE trance party where I remembered how to dance to trance and enjoy it to its fullest: Romanian Trance Family pres. Exposure with Daniel Kandi, Suncatcher & Exolight, Tesla System and Guard14. Came to Bucharest for this party with only one goal: to have fun. And that's exactly what I did.
My first regret is that I lost the warm-up from Guard14 and therefore, couldn't properly dip my toe into the party. Instead, I dived right in with Suncatcher & Exolight's set.
The second one is that I had to leave shortly after Tesla System started playing, and I lost one of my favorite sets of this year! I got the chance to listen to what he played and it was too insane to miss.
I decided to put my phone on "do not disturb" mode and to remember how is it: to party without photographing or filming any of it. Why? Because I wanted to feel the party through music, rather than a screen. The party had already professionals doing that, and me trying to capture something good, was not helping anyone. OK. I have 5 photos on my phone from the event, because I wanted to keep Trancers's socials active, but I failed like a pro on doing so.
IT WAS THE BEST DECISION I COULD'VE MADE.
I went straight to the first row, said hi to the people I met on the way and that was pretty much it. I may have missed a lot of people on this "quest", and I am really sorry if you saw me I didn't at least smile back. when I am focused on something, I tend to ignore things and people around me. :-s (but working on doing better). Beside a few breaks to breathe some more air outside, I danced my soul off and enjoyed every second of it.
Suncatcher & Exolight . These 2 guys do magic no matter what: producing, djing, being nice friends, you name it. Their set was awesome. Even though it started at a lower bpm, than I usually fancy, I liked it. A lot of that Anjuna vibe at first, but right into the emotional uplifting in hour no. 2.

I went straight to Goosebumps City when I heard Footprints on the Moon Soul and continued so when I don't deserve you from Paul van Dyk (the Giuseppe Ottaviani remix) kicked in. It is impossible to have 2 of your favorite tracks one after the other and not close your eyes to feel every sound, every second of the moment.
I could talk and praise the guys for hours, but I think showing you what (1/2 of) their set was about, is best: here is a link.

Daniel Kandi. This man, needs no introduction. Every trance fan knows him, knows about him, knows about his music and his energy. He played a very good extended set, showcasing new tracks perfectly matched with old tracks.
Favorite track: The Perfect Match (with Aligator). This track brings up so many good memories, so many good moments, I am always close to bursting into tears. But these would be happy tears.

Tesla System. Oh well, he was the surprise of the night for me. Listened to some of his online sets, talked about our vision for the trance scene, but never experienced him behind the decks. I knew he is good, but never believed he is this good.
Incorporating a lot of his mashups, gave the set a really personal touch and this was turning point for me to enjoy it even more. Also, his energy is contagious. You cannot stand still, seeing him go mad and really loving what he does. Test it yourself: link of the set. There is, also, a very special moment dedicated to Snatt Dragos, one of the pillars of the Romanian Trance scene. His passing has a hard hit for the community and it is very nice to always remember him and his work.

The party was very nice and I am happy the Romanian Trance Scene has found its way again. The venue was good; much better than the previous smaller parties and I hope this will be the start of nice collaboration. They already announced a new party on May 25 (more details about that soon).
Technicalities, like sound system, and other stuff like that, I leave it to you to tell if it was good or not. Only mention: at some point I felt that my party earplugs are a lifesaver, 'cuz (at least) in the front row, some sounds couldn't be processed properly by my ears. Maybe it was only me, or maybe not, I just felt the need to mention it.
Also, another thing that kinda didn't work for me, were the visuals. The setup was great, but the actual played visuals were too much on the eyes. Also, sometimes quite off with the vibe of the party. Cartoons should remain cartoons and never combined with trance music. My opinion. Maybe some liked them, maybe not. I know I didn't. But hey!, there is always room for improvement. :)
Overall, I left the party with a broken heart for not being able to stay till the end, but happy this party happened. It was good. And kudos for all the people involved to make it happen. Cheers to many more!

Another day, another track: Another life by Cold Blue [Subculture]
Cold Blue just had the proper start of this year's releases! Another Life has been in our hearts for a while as part of his sets, but on January 25th this track just saw the daylight!
As usual, I am listening to the track on repeat and I am thinking what this track means to me. What it does and how I can describe the feeling better. And one thing comes through my mind: peace. Peace of mind.
This track is about quiet, tranquility, melody. Melody of life: another life. The life where you have nothing to worry about. The life where everything is quiet, but loud. The life where everyone is calm, but excited. The life where there is melody, but also noise. The life where there is a pure harmony between all these.
I am in love with the track. It's a great one to have in the playlist and as usual I grabbed my copy. Another Life is (of course) released with Subculture and received such great feedback till now. You can grab your copy here: subculture.choons.at/anotherlife.

ADE '18 memories: Solarstone presents Pure Trance - a pure night to remember
It isn't easy to talk about one of the greatest nights of ADE. It isn't easy to keep yourself cool for a couple of days (weeks) and try not to write 100 articles about it. It is not. But it is easy to remember what happened and get the goosebumps again and again because of the memories of a Pure Night to remember. On October 20th, at Postillion Convention Centre Amsterdam Solarstone celebrated his birthday with a Pure Trance Night.
Being my first ADE year, I was nervous with each event I attended. Do not ask me why, because even I don't know. I am nervous when it is about Trancers.ro and its first experiences. I heard a lot about last year's events, so I was curious about 2018's ones.
Understood that last year, there were some issues regarding the location and facilities, but this year people were happier. Heard no complaints around me and I had a nice experience. The space was pretty fancy, but the lasers, the music, and the people made it a real trance party.
When I got to the party, Orkidea was playing. Orkidea was warming up the crowd even more, after Hal Stucker. And he was doing one hell of a job! I've always enjoyed his music and listened to some of his sets. But experiencing it live is something out of this world. He was the right man for the job. I am not soooo much into the progressive sets, but from time to time some manage to amaze me. And hit me in the feels. I experienced joy, smiles and lots of fun with my friends. I do not remember too many tracks (you know I can't remember too many tracks), cuz I focus on the feelings I experience on the dancefloor, but I remember Orkidea's remix of Coldplay - White Shadows.
Then, the Pure Trance man took the decks and did what he knows best: amaze the crowd. Solarstone celebrated his birthday in style and threw an amazing party. I've seen Solarstone a couple of times and he always delivered. Played a couple of my favorites, but the ones that reached most of my heart are: Solarstone - Thank you and Solarstone - Love Theme from Blade Runner (Pure Mix).
The whole night was an emotional rollercoaster. And when Giuseppe Ottaviani joined Solarstone on the stage for the Pure NRG set and begun theirs set with "Age of Love" I went straight to Crazy Huma on the Dancefloor mode. I was crying, I was enjoying the goosebumps of this track, I met new people feeling the same as I did. Age of Love if one of my all time favorites, so to start a set with that one, meant only one thing: the set will be PERFECT. And it was.
I made these gifs to capture the madness of the sets. I could not take any photos, since these guys were enjoying their work too much to stay still. Both PureNRG and Lost in Noise sets were definitely my favorites from that night. Closer to my soul in style, closer to my soul in music.
It was a crazy night, an amazing night to end the ADE experience with. I couldn't thought of any other party to chose for this. What are your favorite memories with a Pure Trance act or party?
New track: Alessandra Roncone & Jak Aggas - Vivi La Musica [Degenerate Records]
A new track that caught my ears lately is the latest one from Alessandra Roncone, a collaboration with Jak Aggas, called Vivi La Musica, out with Degenerate Records.
And it caught me because of its simplicity. Because it is easy to listen. Because it is a very nice declaration for music and about music. I really like it. It starts powerful, it continues with a very nice uplifting melody and it gives you that good vibe you may need from time to time.
To be honest the meaning of the track is in what I say: music is not just music. Music is life and we have to let it flow inside us. This was the meaning. I made the melody as always: a normal arp following the chords I choose for the break. Nothing different from others of my tracks. It may seem like a simple meaning to the track, but it is what it is. Not as big in meaning as 'For Our Angels', but bold in statement: Don't just listen the music, but live it! - Alessandra
I also like the voices on it. Plus, its statement (told through Alessandra's voice): "La vita è musica. Falla scorrere dentro di te." (Music is life. Let it flow inside you). A very simple statement, but one that means a lot. A lot about trance music, about any music we might like and listen to every day.
And to be clear: I heard a lot of rumours about who is actually working on its own music or not, about who is using help or not. And I do not care. The truth is known only by the people involved, and it shouldn't impact our attitude towards music. If a track is good, it is good no matter what. No matter who worked on it or not. No matter who needed help or not. No matter who's name is on it or not. Music is music and it shouldn't be lead by names, but by the actual feelings it gives us.
Vivi La Musica is a good track and you should have it in your playlist too. Grab your copy here: degenerate.choons.at/vivilamusica.
Remix of the year: Cold Blue for Joint Operation Centre feat. Kate Miles - Behind The Silence [Subculture]
When I first heard the original I fell in love with it and had it on repeat for days. Literally on repeat. There was no other track that could make me feel what this one made me feel: A deep good darkness. Buuuut, when I heard this remix there were some serious goosebumps involved.
Cold Blue released this on August 24, with Subculture. You can grab your copy too, from here: subculture.choons.at/behindthesilence-coldblue .
If the original meant darkness to me, the remix is something else. As usual, Cold Blue managed to spin the track, the melody, the vibe of it into something le-gen-da-ry. Don't get me wrong. They both are legendary. And could easily be named some of the best tracks of this year. But Cold Blue made me love this even more. If that is possible.
This music man's touch is out of this world. I know. I sound like a complete Cold Blue junkie again. But I can't handle it. I really like how he played with it and gave it a special light. The remix sounds a little bit more playful. A little bit dreamier. At least to me. At least to my soul. Just hit play and you' hear exactly what I mean. You'll see the dance party from my heart. The happiness, the joy, the eargasm this track gives.
Enjoyed it on the dancefloor this year at Luminosity. I enjoy every second of it every time I hit the play button. It is one of my favorites for this year. Actually a lot of Subculture tracks are in my favorites this year. Really hope some are in your playlist too. They are doing great in the scene. They do this music justice.

New track: ALEX M.O.R.P.H. & MARK SHERRY – MAGNETAR [Vandit]
Whenever you see these two names in a track's title, you know it is huge! Alex M.O.R.P.H.'s uplift and Mark Sherry's tech madness combined will always turn into a proper choon! The 2 trance minds are insanely great and it kinda makes you wonder, why this didn't happen earlier. Why Magnetar didn't appear into our lives a couple of years ago.
Wasting zero time, the pair’s first studio union rolls out at pace with drum punch, metal-on-metal percussion and crowd-infecting vocal whoops & loops. Techy FX and bleepy, beamed-from-the-heavens sub-riffs are dispensed from Mr Sherry’s soundbanks. That leaves Alex to hardwire a mainline so galactic in scope & effect, a return from ‘Magnetar‘ may be beyond us all!
Magnetar is exactly what you would expect from a M.O.R.P.H. and Sherry mix. A very nice melody, dreamy, uplifting but also playful combined with a strong and driving upbeat. Good track to listen to at the office and drive your rocker colleagues mad with having it on repeat. Good to start the day with too. It definitely kicks in the energy!
The mindboggling properties of their debut union are available now here beatport.com/release/magnetar-extended/2224170 through Beatport. Or you can feel its cosmic blast via VANDIT’s Soundcloud page!

New Track: Exolight - Starfall [Always Alive Recordings]
This has been a very interesting year for the Romanian Trance scene, for the World Wide Trance scene. Exolight is one of the freshest names in the industry and he is one of the talented ones! His tracks sound fresh, trancy and are the perfect tracks to have in your playlist.
Recently he just launched Starfall, with Always Alive Recordings and the track sounds amazing. I enjoyed it at first listen and I knew I had to buy my copy once it is out.
Coupling classic basslines with Exolight's knack for the airy & melodic, 'Starfall' bridges the gap between old & new effortlessly with an impressively accomplished new production on Always Alive. The Romanian master returns with one of his best productions yet - Exolight is back with 'Starfall'.
To me, Starfall is the track that I wanna have on repeat while in a cabin, in the mountains, watching the snow. It puts me in the right mood for the season and makes me wanna reconnect with nature. It makes me wander into my world of happiness, it relaxes my senses and it gives me a very zen state of mind.
I really like the melody of it. It is dreamy and has the right amount of energy. An energy that charges senses. An energy that makes me touch each sound and breathe every note from it. The track gave me such goosebumps, I knew I will have it on repeat once I'll have it.
The track has already been supported by Aly & Fila (Starfall was also voted Future Sound in the last FSOE episode), Dan Stone, Alex Morph, Manuel Roca and Sundancer. You can grab your copy from here: alwaysaliverecordings.lnk.to/ALWAYSA223 and support it too.
I can't wait to see what else he has prepared for us! And I am really happy his trance journey is so productive! What do you think about his works till now?

NEW TRACK: AIRBORN, BOGDAN VIX & KEYPLAYER – 3UPHORIA [Essentializm]
New track in my cart alert! Airborn, Bogdan Vix and KeyPlayer are on the run. They released a lot of amazing tracks this year, and 3UPHORIA makes no exception! The track was released yesterday exclusively on Beatport, but it is in the trancers's hearts for at almost 2 weeks now, since Armin played it in A State of Trance 838!
Airborn, Bogdan Vix & Keyplayer are becoming something of a fixture here at Essentializm and we LOVE it! Following on from their previous instrumentals 'Kaleidoscope' and 'Liberation' which have received heavy play around these parts, the boys are back with their latest offering '3uphoria'. On the menu are Baleric vibes with a progressive and uplifting flavour, best served: LOUD!
When I clicked play, I didn't expect something like this. I didn't expect to literally take me into an euphoria. The track is sensitive; it is something I cannot find the right words to describe. That piano is a lot to handle. It touches your heart in a way you get the chills. The chills of happiness, of pure joy. I fell in love at first listen. It gave me that state of "Dance like no one is watching". I am writing this after a 30 minutes dance party with this track on repeat and do not regret a second of it. It was great to re-charge my energy after a strong day at work with this track and to enjoy every feeling of it.
I am really happy they chose to work together, because the results are astonishing. And I really hope they will do even more next year. You can grab your copy now from Beatport, or stream it on Spotify! All other buying or streaming options are right here: raznitzan.lnk.to/3uphoria and will be available starting November 27.
What do you think about the track? Did it gave you the same chills? Did you experienced something else? Let me know!

Trance week in review: 4 Romanian acts on ASOT, FSOE and many more!
Busy, but very busy week for the Romanian Trance Family! 1 ASOT, 3 FSOE plays and many other more supports for our trance producers. My first trance week in review is all about local artists and supporting them and their work. I know I didn't mention all of them. Between Exolight, Suncatcher, Nikolauss, The WLT, there is also place for Bogdan Vix, Keyplayer, Starpicker and many more as well. But to somehow start this series, I chose one of the bussiest weeks of this summer (till now). We have some really talented producers and they all deserve your support.
Exolight & Suncatcher - Day to Remember [Fables]
The 2 are on the run lately. Releasing choon after choon, there is no wonder their latest release was played by Aly & File in FSOE 504, voted as FUTURE SOUND and got played a week earlier in ASOT 821. It is clearly they are doing something really right if they are getting so much support both from big artists (Armin van Buuren, Aly & Fila, Dan Stone, Ferry Tale, Solarstone, Alex M.O.R.P.H) and the trance community. Track got released on July 10 and is up for grabs here.
Personal opinion about the track: Great and very serious uplifting, with the right dose of emotion. It is one of those tracks that made me go back to the most melancholic moments of my life, while keeping the present, present. It made me smile thinking of all those beautiful moments. It gave me chills. It gave me goosebumps. Memory goosebumps.

Exolight & Suncatcher - Summer Escape [Always Alive]
Perfect to enjoy this summer. It captures a whole season in one track. Got released on June 30 and it is part of Daniel Kandi's Always Alive Recordings 200.
Nikolauss - Speedforce [Extrema Global]
Can't say this one is my favorite only because he is my boyfriend, but I will say it it my favorite because the track is indeed amazing. I think is one of his best ones till now and I cannot wait to share what else he has to share with you soon. I remember listening to it in its early stages and I know how much I enjoyed since. Speedforce is the right track to get you back on track and to motivate your day. It also has more meaning to me, since I am a huge fan of the Flash and his adventures. This connection inspired the artwork, inspired a lot of articles here and will inspired much more from now on.
Track got released on July 14 and it is one of the 2 tracks Nikolauss had prepared for us for this month. Grab your copy here: extrema.lnk.to/speedforce .

Let's see if we can get on more romanian Future Sound in FSOE. Shall we? Vote your favorite here and let's hope these guys get what they deserve!
The WLT - Wanderlust [Go On Air]
Dana, in real life, has her first big release with Giuseppe Ottaviani's label Go On Air and her first play on ASOT. That is quite an accomplishment and I hope she gets more from now on. Gotta love a woman's touch on a trance track!
Track will be released on July 24. But till you can get your copy, you can vote for here as Future Favorite here: www.astateoftrance.com/futurefavorite.

ON PROMO: Nikolauss vs. Asteroid - Earthbound [Extrema Global Music]
This is huge! Two of our favorite Extrema artists, Nikolauss and Asteroid got together and delivered this beauty! Both great artists, both produced great tracks, but the result exceeded our expectations. Earthbound is THE track. The track you need to It is all about true feelings and real passion. Passion for nature, passion for sound, passion for life itself. It has a special energy to it. So, just click that play button, feel that energy and enjoy it to the fullest! Trance on!
I was writing the other days the description for this track and I had to tell you more about it on the blog. Not just because it is a great track, you should know about, but because of the two people that made it.
Nikolauss is not just my boyfriend. He is not just my best friend. He is a great trance producer and I am quite proud about the path he chose. Watching him getting better every day is a privilege. Watching him create and being the first one to listen to his tracks is something I am looking forward everyday after work.
Asteroid is not just one of the regular artists of Extrema Global Music. He is not only someone with a studio. He is a great guy, and I really hope to meet him soon. He is also studying in the field and trying to reach its potential everyday. Also, so open minded, so down to earth and supportive of all artists, not only his music.
And the track they just made it is perfect. My personal opinion. It gave me an energy to a last for a whole week at the office the other days and it made me feel a bit like a superhero. The lead, the breakdown, the baseline all come together perfectly and I can't be any happier to experience it from its early stages. And to show my appreciation and love for the track, I made a video for it.
I really hope you guys will like it and that you'll grab your copy from Beatport today: https://goo.gl/LA8rA3 . Track was already supported by Manuel on his Extrema 489! Also, don't forget to support these guys on social media, because they do deserve all the support in the world!
